About the product

Mingardo is one of Italy's leading metal design interior manufacturers. My father has been running the business since I was 18 years old. Daniele Mingardo launched his own brand in 2013 after honing his sense of industrial design while gaining experience surrounded by craftsmen at the Mingardo Blacksmith Workshop, a metal products factory. Daniele has created high-end interior furniture and kitchen accessories, mainly using metal, but also using other materials such as wood. They are limited edition collections with serial numbers.

High quality items, all handmade by craftsmen using advanced metal processing techniques. are completed.

“Shield” means “shield”. A small round table that can be used single or in pairs. A round metal table with a distinctive slightly curved leg, the design is beautiful and makes use of the material. The joints that are intentionally left visible are parts that demonstrate outstanding craftsmanship. It emits a soft luster that subtly illuminates the space. There are five types of surface finishes: ・Ping gold finish on stainless steel (main image) ・Matt bronze brass finish ・Nickel plate finish ・Polished iron finish ・RAL 9005 Black painted iron Enjoy an elegant relaxing time in a chic space. Hilario Mingardo established a blacksmith workshop near Padua in 1970 after gaining experience in the metalworking field. Over the years, the company has worked with internationally renowned architects and important institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in Milan and the Musical Theater in Florence. Forty years after the creation of the workshop, his son Daniele Mingardo has launched his own brand, combining exquisite craftsmanship and contemporary design. His work is characterized by a minimalist approach, with contemporary objects such as furniture combining metal and wood, made with precision and high-quality finishes.
