IVV Glass Makers was founded in 1952 in Tuscany, central Italy. We manufacture artistic tableware such as plates and glasses by fusing traditional glass processing techniques passed down over 70 years with modern design. All items are handmade by skilled craftsmen who decorate pressed and blown glass. IVV Glassmakers was founded in 1952 in San Giovanni Val d'Arno in central Tuscany, Italy by 30 founding members. It was established as a joint company.It is one of the few companies that continues to produce in the same format today.The riverbed around the Arno River, where the factory is located, is an area where the raw materials necessary for glass production are abundant. It is known as the place where the ancient Etruscans began making glass.
Since its founding, IVV has established a strong position in Europe as a manufacturer of hand-blown glass by combining high-quality materials and design with traditional craftsmanship and manufacturing methods, creating new objects one after another. Today, IVV items are sold all over the world. Handmade, high-quality pieces are highly valued not only by individuals who enjoy them, but also in the restaurant and hotel industries.
The company also uses `clean` glass with no contaminants or lead oxides. We operate in accordance with our corporate philosophy of protecting the environment, ensuring the safety of users and other people involved in the manufacturing process, and recycling processed waste.
